Locaded at Matarandiba Island, in the inside coast of Vera Cruz, by the ocean, is placed the Fonte do Tororó (Tororó Foutain), a small bay surrounded by woods with a smooth water fall that drops straight to the sea, a pit stop to all boats to watch the local beauty, only viewable from the ocean waters. The Ilha de São Gonçalo (São Gonçalo Island) offers ecological trekking, a nice sea and lake bath. Down to extreme southeast, and by the end of the canal, Cacha-Prego offers beaches, bars, and restaurants. All with local and quiet charm.

Even though it’s one of the tinniest islands of the Bay, with only 6 km of extension, Ilha dos Frades has its beauty importance. The island that is an ecologic reserve since 1982 has dazzling landscapes and beaches, coconut tree plantations, lakes, water falls, and an exuberant atlantic forest with countless native trees, including Pau-Brasil.

Among lots of beaches, the Ponta do Loreto is one of the most beautiful places, with crystalline and limpid waters in a small bay, perfect for scuba diving; and lots of colonial historical monuments. At this spot, there is a concentration of sunshades that offers drinks and savories. Try the boiling lobster.
